Happy weekend, my friends! Hope you all had a good week. Mine has been busy, but not manic for once. Today I am going to visit my parents and Sunday I’m going out with a friend and then to the movies in the evening so I’ve got a busy weekend too.
My snippet of the week is some more from The Power of Will. I haven’t done any writing since coming back from Russia, but I’ll be back to it soon. I need to finally make some progress with this book (Will), finished Favourite Toy 2, plus I have inspiration for a sequel to Summit based on the trip to Russia!
After Tyler woke from a vivid dream about William, this week he reads more of the journal.

Yawning, I carried on reading as dawn broke and lightened the room. William and Peter made love for the first time, in a deserted barn on farmland a mile from the town. Anxious about their inability to deny their longings, they fought against it for a time until eventually they found themselves unable to keep their hands off each other. They fumbled, awkward and inexperienced, and William described the event as “wonderful but painful” and later feared he’d be condemned for letting it happen. If anyone found out he’d certainly be shunned by his family, and perhaps arrested.
Again, I tried to imagine living in those times. I’d seen enough prejudice myself in the twenty-first century, but the worst I’d suffered personally had been mild bullying from a couple of idiots in school when I came out in my teens. How awful must it have been to live in fear like William?
