Rainbow Snippets – 6 April 2019

Happy weekend, Snippetteers! It’s been a manically busy week here for me. The good news is that although my mum is still in hospital, she’s sounding much better on the phone and she had some blood tests a few days ago which apparently had good results. I’m taking my dad to see her tomorrow and we might then have an idea of when she’ll be able to go home.

For this week’s snippet, I have more from one of my current WIPs, a paranormal MM romance, The Power of Will. Newly single Tyler remembers how he met his ex.

Mountain biking was one of the outdoor pursuits Pete and I had loved to do together. We’d met half way up Cat Bells, when my old bike had failed me after a six-foot jump on the way down the small mountain. I’d come crashing down in a heap right in front of the most gorgeous man I’d ever seen. He and his friend had put their bikes aside to help me up and hand out sticking plasters for my cuts and grazes. The helmet, knee and elbow pads, and gloves had saved me from the worst of it, but I’d landed on rough stone, some of which attacked my bare arms and legs. I’d shared my lunch with the two men, and quickly discovered they were only mates. Pete liked the look of the fallen hero with a knackered Giant. The rest was history.
