Rainbow Snippets – 2 February 2019

Happy weekend, Snippetteers! This week has gone by so quickly for me. Work has been incredibly busy, I’ve been running before work or after work, and barely seem to have had any spare time for anything. Hoping to get a bit of relaxation over the weekend, although I’m going out for brunch with a friend on Sunday and to the movies in the evening!

Thank you, everyone, who sent sent good wishes for my mum last week. She had a good couple of weeks, but isn’t doing so well the last day or two. She has an appointment with her specialist on Tuesday and will hopefully find out when they can do her surgery.

Anyway, here’s my snippet of the week from Favourite Toy 2. Ryan’s new boyfriend doesn’t fit in too well.

I dated Tristan for three weeks. Initially, I liked him and I began to think things might work out after the first few dates. We didn’t have a huge number of things in common, but he had a tremendous sense of humour and made me laugh all the time. He was attractive and sexy, sweet and caring, but by the middle of the second week, he was also clingy. I couldn’t remember any of my previous boyfriends ever texting me so often or prompting me with more texts when they didn’t get an immediate answer.

As Tristan lived with his parents, we couldn’t go back to his place to fool around, so I brought him home a couple of times, which I quickly realised was a mistake. I couldn’t just fuck him and ask him to leave, so he stayed over, which made the early gatherings in the kitchen awkward. Casper got along with Tristan well enough, but Remy avoided him after their first meeting, and Dean rolled his eyes whenever Tristan wasn’t looking his way.
