Skegness, UK, 2014 – with my motorbike, known as Walter

Hi, I’m Louise Lyons. I live in the UK about an hour north of London, and I’ve been writing virtually all my life.

It all started with stories about little girls and ponies when I was about eight years old, gradually progressed into romance in my teens, and I went on to “publish” some FanFiction stories in my twenties and thirties. The support I got for my stories on that sight encouraged me to try to get a book published for real, and I was delighted to have my first novel accepted and released in eBook form and Paperback in 2014. Now there’s no stopping me!

On Jack’s Rake, Pavey Arc in the Lake District, UK

When I’m not writing, I have many other interests, including attending car and motorcycle shows, running long distance, and keeping a variety of pets. I have a Dobermann named Casper, tropical fish, and four tarantulas.

I’m very much an outdoor person, and love to go hiking and camping, mainly in the Lake District in the UK. I am, however, planning a big adventure for 2017, trekking up Kilimanjaro, so that’ll be my biggest challenge to date.
